September Featured Artists

Each month artists’ work is celebrated as Featured Artists for a month in a special display near the front of the Gallery. Their artistic works are featured during First Friday celebration, September 4th , at the Gallery from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.

Elizabeth Gamache

Elizabeth’s acrylic paintings capture nature’s beauty….from colorful sunsets to wild animals in bold strokes and vibrant colors. She uses traditional and unusual surfaces, including snowboards, barnwood, and glass. She said, “Despite an occasional bandaged finger, the stunning results make the artistic obstacle course worthwhile!”. Elizabeth’s outdoor adventures inspire her art, including mountain biking, hiking and trail running.

Frani Marsh

Frani, a talented jeweler, creates unique necklaces, earrings, bracelets using sterling silver, brass, and copper with semi-precious gemstones and organic materials. In her words, “Every piece created begins with a story…inspired by nature and crafted with love because every piece deserves it’s moment”. She has her own business, Frani’s Beads & Crafts, in Pueblo. Frani’s jewelry is handcrafted to reflect the beauty of individuality and craftsmanship in wearable art.

Ron and Cathy White

Ron and Cathy began creating unique stone art when Ron discovered artwork carved on canyon walls during his 1976 Outward Bound experience. Rock is brought to Ron’s studios on large 4X4 foot pallets, broken using natural fault lines, and then stabilized. Cathy finishes each piece using a mineralization process to recreate “desert varnish”, like natural canyon walls. Their one-of-a-kind pieces include necklaces, wall hangings, and magnets….and their business is Derived From Nature.
